The thing is, we sometimes get the odd person/s that will complain about stupid things..

* The 10L box is too much!!!

HELLOOOO…. it normally has at LEAST 1 skin (high quality), eyes, shape, hair, and sometimes something else for a surprise!!
If 10L is too much, that is fine, I will remove the box completely if it will sooth their souls!
I am giving this another chance, as I know there are many of you that DO appreciate the work that goes into making a skin, and then to almost give it away!!!

* You sent out the wrong LM (Land Mark)

Yes, I have done this on occasion.. however, what people seem to not understand is that, A: I have a very extensive inventory! So mistakes are bound to happen… and B: We JUST moved across the walkway!! It’s not like I am sending you to a strange sim! There is a CLEAR sign, with a LM as WELL, as leaves and directions how to find us, incase you choose not to read the direction right ON the sign its self!

* Your subscriber is too spammy!

OMG! This one really upsets me!
We pay for an advanced option on our subscriber.. It includes UNLIMITED notices..
We choose to send out TWO per week.
ONCE in a blue moon, you will receive more… but, that is for GROUP ONLY SPECIALS!!!
I thought I was doing well with that.
Sorry, if TWO notices and special promos are too much.

* This skin is too… this that or not enough… etc etc etc

People, I do NOT do custom skins.
Reason being, is… I can NOT please everyone!!
I would never contact one of my friends, let alone a stranger, to change their skins! Especially if I was not willing to pay the extra to have it done for me!!!
YES I have on occasion, made extra makeup options for friends.
The huge difference is, they A: PAY me to make the changes, and B: their skins, are the ONLY ones released! I do not resell their skins once they are made for them!

I am sure there are more pet peeves… but, seriously, all this does is upset me, so I am stopping this now!

Please, people, remember that we (designers), work VERY HARD to bring you products in Second Life..
Constantly putting us down, or trashing our work, does NOT make it any better or easier for us.
And it does not make us, jump through hoops to make you happy.
If anything, it makes us feel that our designs, that we were 5 mins ago, so happy about, are worthless.

I find, that the people that complain the most are the people that do NOT design a thing!
And the people that offer suggestions, are the other designers.

It’s very simple to ask a question, without making demands. And it’s alot easier to say, can you please help me… other then.. you did this wrong!

ALL designers will respond better to encouragement.. not constant complaints.

Here is a thought..

When you contact someone… in your head, play what your going to say in your head, and think… “how would I perceive this..” and then modify it so that you won’t hurt the designers feelings.
