Ok, ladies and gents..
News flash!
If you bought a skin from me in the past, which if you are reading this then you probably HAVE..
Please, wear your skin, go into edit appearance, body detail, and turn it right down to zero.
It would appear that I have been creating my skins, and at some point, I must have messed with that feature (i was a noobie once too lol), and our skins are slightly transparent so that you may darken it or lighten it etc etc.. So, the detail was show thru the skin..
Thanks to DBS Heart (Bishwear), we now have the perfect skin, I would see in my previewer!
Thank GAWD!

Ok, so this is what we have for you..
NEWS:
We have just heard, that we MAY be moving the main location..
Now, you have to understand..
It has been my dream, since becoming a designer to have a store on Cassiopea, with Ravenlynn Templar of LVS&Co..
When we opened our small vendor store there, it was an amazing feeling for me, like, achieving a goal that I had set out for myself.
I thank Hunter, for helping this happen, as I have needed so much support in more ways then one.
Ravenlynn contacted me yesterday, and informed me that they were going to be changing the sim around, due to the insane issues with open space sims..
With this, she asked if we would be interested in having our mainstore location, move to Cassiopea..
I nearly choked..
Hunter, was extremely impressed..
I am ecstatic, and I am hoping this will work out.
I am sad to leave Norcott, and we are hoping to work with Kona, to maybe have an outlet there..
Time will tell..
We are only just waiting on a estimate pricing on a store there.
If it is workable, we will be moving our main location, the first and second week of December.
Lol.. the same week I will tech be away.. but, it is ok, we will figure something out.

We’re Late, We’re Late..

Yes we are late..
And for that I am truly sorry..
I thought that I could handle all of the stress, drama, and flop of a show and still manage to get my skins ready.
I over estimated myself.
i am sorry…
However..
I DO have a few new tops and bottoms coming out late today, one of which will be a present.
They will be avail at the main skin store, while I move the boutique over to Primal Heart.
The funny thing is, we were going to have to move soon ANYWAY.. so we got our new home/business just in time.
A few highlights.
Primal Heart will be the location of, a Lovers walks/beach..
A fishing zone, soon to contain presents by our stores.
Soft Touch Boutique & Photography studio.
And Baby Boi Intimates, our own club.
We will have a list of rules avail shortly, simple things, no large gestures, no littering.
As this is our home as well.
I will be adding a security orb to our home and there will be a limit to how many times you get tossed by it that you will be added to a ban list.
So, PLEASE respect our home.
Other then those, and few to be added, I think it’s a fair trade.
If your a terra former, or builder and have suggestions on how to minimize prims, or how to make things more lover like, please leave a comment here on the blog, as this seems the most intrusiveness way to reach us.
I will update this blog with clothing pictures, just as soon as I have a wee bit of a rest, as my head is about to explode… yup, still sick..
Oh, and when you visit, hope fully I will have the screens up so you may view some random pictures, that will be avail for sale.
(you pick the picture by its number and we can mount it and they will be avail for 250L).

And so it seems we have been ripped… again.
This time however, hurts more then others because, most of my characteristics, have been used.
My eyes, brows, nose shadings, and cheeks.
I will not atm, name names, but, I will say this…
This person popped out of no where, and is somehow an over night success using not only MY skins but, also those from Minnu (MM Skins).
This blog entry, is just to let you, our customers and friends, know, how much this hurts us.
Not only myself but, Hunter as well, since he has invested just as much time and energy.
You never know exactly how you will feel until, it happens to you.
The blatant rip of our Amy, was brutal enough but, at the time we didn’t have a ton going on, and it was only a custom skin that was taken, not our lot in the whole.
I know I sound too calm about that but, I dealt with with swiftly.
This attack however, is MUCH worse, since this takes from my main skin content.
My brows and glam shading, has always been my “trade mark”.
Many people come back each week to see what we have out for them..
Be it gifts, new skins, or discounts.. sometimes hunts as well.
We try to be generous to our loyal customers and treat them like family.
I have to stop myself now, and think, “Am i being TOO generous?”
It hurts me so much to know that people literally go to stores and either steal ideas or copybot skins/textures.
I have always stood by my friends, when they have been abused.
Truth Hawks of Truth Designs, was hit hard, and I went out of my way to help with that, by sending constant group Ims, and notes, and blogging, and making sure that he got the attention he deserved.
My friend, Pompeja Rossini of, Damiani Designs was recently ripped as well of her skins..
What is this SL coming too when a creator can not be safe to create?
It is not that hard to learn to make your own hair, or skins.
Eloh Eliot, has a blog full of skin resources for teaching AND resale purposes..
Natalia Zelmanov, has a blog devoted to teaching you EVERYTHING you need to know about content creation!!!
And HEY, these all “cost” the same amount, as stealing someone else’s content.
Only difference is, this would be your OWN work.
Oh, I know…
Too much work to be original.
I pride myself on being different.
I am not a clone.
You would never see any of MY skins, looking anything close to one of the bigger companies in SL.
I pride myself, on changing my skins, to meet the populations preferences.
Someone wants freckles, I do my best to deliver…
Tanned, Pale, Dark…. I do it all..
I even met Keshi’s need for a male skin, even though I personally HATE creating male skins because, lets face it…
I’M A WOMAN!!!!
I do not know the “right” positions of ..umm.. privates, etc.. lol..
Just so you know, I do NOT find any of this comical.
If I do not laugh alittle bit I will go insane.
I laugh at the sad individual that, for whatever the reason, could not come up with her own ideas and HAD to steal from myself as well as other creators.
I laugh at the people that fell for her game..
I laugh at the irony of all of this…
I cry..
I scream..
I yell…
I hit things…
In the end.. all I can do is tell you how I feel that PARTS of my skin has been used.. along with others, to make this persons skins..
Some may say, that you are always going to find similarities.
Yes, even me at points…
However!
This.. is a complete match to MY, content..
What do I do now?
Do I file the DMCA?
Do, I “”forget about it and move on””?
Do I blog the living hell out of it, naming the persons name, store, and take her down? (you all know I can be very spiteful if push.. and trust me stealing our content is a great push)…
My sister, suggested, I take the best of each of my skins, and make a whole new generation..
And water mark everything…
No worries on that last part… from now on EVERYTHING, will be marked.
The only thing wrong with this idea.. is that is what this group was.. the best of each skin..
That is how I do it…
I make a skin..
I work that skin up..
I make subtle changes..
Once I am happy with the changes, I make a HUGE change, and create a new skin..
And then the process starts over again…
I have been at this.. for a very long time..
In SL standards..
I started with Heaven’s Gate Studios.
My photography & Skin company..
I sucked!
LOL.. or at least, looking back now, that is how I feel..
I have come so far…
New partner (almost a year now, xoxo to hunter)..
New store name, just as long as Hunter…
New ideas and creations…
I thought I had come far….
This.. attack, or copy, has only dampened how I feel towards skin creation..
Over SL creations in total…
Please, help me understand..
Please tell me what I should do…
I am so lost..
I have my show coming up, and I fully intend to carry on with it..
I am so happy that my friends, came to our aide so fast.
My designer friends, have been very supportive and understanding, and they also came out to have a look at what we saw..
A few felt they were exact matches..
Some didn’t see the matches..
Like I said, it doesn’t look to be an EXACT reproduction.. it is however MANY of my characteristics.
I am confused.. and I am waiting to name the place since, many of you already know of the place.
I would rather KNOW my next move before I royally blow up…
Please, any advice would help…

Abuse Report filed at 8:16 pm EST (5:16pm slt)
Update:
Spoke directly to the person today..
After threats coming from THEIR side of things.. ridiculous threats about how filing the Abuse Report against them, was against the law in their country.
Well we are not IN their country.
We are in Second Life, and it is well within my rights as a Second Life user to file a report when I feel that my content has been used without my knowledge.
After fighting with her, calmly lol.. and asking for the resource INFORMATION, she FINALLY turned over a shape for me to use to try and do better pictures.
And says that she will produce .jpg files by Sunday (I told her by Sunday at the latest), or I will proceed with a dmca.
Now, I am not going to get into a huge discussion, on what took place during this convo, only to say that they admitted to using “pictures” for their skins, just not MINE..
Then, when I said, something to the effect of, oh so you DO use other ppls content , they FLIPPED OUT and back pedaled VERY fast.
I would also like to say…
And Hunter agrees,…
Had she reacted alittle more professional, I would have been inclined to believe that she really did not understand what she had done however, due to the extremely silly threats and asking for my RL info (name, tele, addy).. I no longer believe this.
She was acting like she was afraid of something.
And this concerns me.
I do not know if she is innocent of not, or if maybe the place that she bought from has stolen content..
I wish she would have just listened to me when I tried, yet again, to help HER…
If ANYONE, has the right to be THAT PISSED, it is myself and my partner, Hunter.

Hey folks, this one is for the ladies AND the men..
First, our announcements…
October 25th, 2008 at 12:00pm, at the Instyle Fashion sim, we will have our first show, with the Instyle Graduates.
We will showcasing a few of our favorite skins, of past and present.
Ravenlynn Templar of LVS, will be sponsoring us, with some of her beautiful outfits.
(we will send out invites with next weeks releases)
I would like to take a moment, and thank Ravenlynn for all her help with the first Essence of Style magazine, shoot, with the amazing clothing, she provided, and all the extra time that she invested.
Speaking of Ravelynn (whom I commonly refer to as Raven, incase I do so thru out the blog), she is hosting a HUGE Octoberfest on her Cassieopia sim!
Soft Touch Skins, has a small store there, as well as a Halloween vendor, set up in one of the Graveyards.
This,is a month long event with many many, MANY, gifts and prizes, and events!
Atm, there is a pumpkin hunt, as previously blog, and we are also involved in this..
OUR pumpkins, include the following pictured skins..
Each pumpkin, is 1L. Not too bad.
Also, I have new skins, in the 10L box at our main store location.
NEWS:
Hunter and I are in the process, of buying a sim.
So, this means, many things, mainly, that our home will be moving, which I will miss greatly, also our club (yet to open…lol good thing, less work), boutique, and studio, will all be moving as well.
So, this means, mild delays on some things but, hopefully not TOO bad.
I will have special gifts avail exclusively to our GROUP members.
Group is FREE to join, atm.
Once the move is over, we may change the entrance fee, only because, there will be special group only gifts, and trust me they WILL be worth it.
(hint, there will be a site, that only group members will have access too, with freebies, HUGE discounts and special offers).
Ok, now on to the releases, lol.. I have had a VERY long week, so I hope this will tickle everyone’s taste buds… lol.

Holy Updating Batman!

Hello to all you awesome Soft Touch, customers and fans!!
I have been running ideas through my head, trying to think of ways to bring you more skins, without going over our prim limit. Even though our rent is based on prims, and not SQm..
SO, I have an idea!!
The main floor of our store will stay the same..
New releases on one wall, with older (within a few weeks) on the others, as well as special offers, and freebies, and info!
As soon as they graduate upstairs, they will be entered into a vendor, featuring 20 skins, PER vendor! (20, is a good round number without too much clutter).
On, one wall, will be 2 small vendors, one for complete packs, and one for demos.
This, is for everyone’s benefit.
Also, I will have occasional “guest” landmarks.
Say, you have something happening, a grand opening, or something, and would like me to place it at the store… for now, while i have the room, I will add it to our information area.
So, on to other news, lol…
There is a HUGE Octoberfest sorta deal going on this month (duh October, LOL), at the LVS&Co sim..
We have graveyard display with a few Halloween skins!
Also, there is a sim wide pumpkin search happening..
We have 4 pumpkins, out with out Gotham skins, scattered about..
Pumpkins around, are from some of the LVS&CO designers!
So, make sure you get to visit, and keep coming, back since
according to Ravenlynn, the prizes and presents and everything, are going to change per week!

First off, I hope to restart the skin drop parties soon, as many of you know, I haven’t been feeling well, so, it’s a hit and miss if I am on air, or not.
